Darren Friedman is a founding partner and principal at Maltzman Foreman. 

He has ample experience in general civil litigation. His practice has focused on defending corporations from class actions, medical malpractice, wrongful death, sexual assault, and all types of business and tort litigation.  His practice primarily includes representation of cruise lines, cargo lines and other vessel owners, hotels, tour operators, travel agents and those involved in the hospitality and tourism industry.  He routinely handles matters involving vessel documentation, cabotage, ship's mortgages, vessel arrests, and proceedings under the U.S. Limitation of Liability Act.  Mr. Friedman specializes in and often provides crisis advice and management.   

Mr. Friedman also routinely handles appellate matters for the firm’s clients and has argued numerous appeals before the Third District Court of Appeals; as well as drafting briefs for presentation before the Florida Supreme Court, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
